What began as a plant material brokerage has evolved into a full-service, design-build firm specializing in high-end landscape and hardscape construction. Our success is rooted in a commitment to client-first service, innovative outdoor solutions, and strong partnerships with contractors, developers, and suppliers. MEET THE TEAM

Chris Besing
Founder and Leader
Back in 1988, Chris started his company, which has transformed over the years into Signature Outdoor Concepts. Initially starting out as a plant broker, he steadily grew the business through hands-on experience in construction and development.
With a degree in Finance and a sharp eye for both numbers and design, he shows his passion for building with enthusiasm.
When he’s not leading the company, you’ll find him on the golf course or deep in conversation about cars, one of his favorite topics.

Sean Frankin
General Manager
Sean has been a key part of SOC since 2013, bringing over 31 years of industry experience to the team. He holds Bachelor’s degrees in Landscape Architecture and Landscape Construction from Mississippi State University.
With a deep background in commercial, residential, and public construction, as well as project management and design, Sean provides expert leadership and insight across every aspect of the business.
Outside of work, he enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and dogs, hitting the golf course, traveling, and off-roading.

Ginger Masters
Senior Landscape Designer
With nearly two decades of experience in residential, commercial, and public landscape design, Ginger brings both depth and versatility to every project she touches. A graduate of Ball State University with a degree in Landscape Architecture, she has been an integral part of our team since 2016 and is known for her creative vision, expertise, and dedication.
Ginger has a unique ability to blend function with beauty, balancing aesthetics with practical needs to create spaces that truly reflect each client’s lifestyle. Her background in construction, materials, and plant knowledge allows her to solve complex site challenges with thoughtful, elegant solutions. Clients often remark on how seen and heard they feel throughout the design process.
Outside of the office, She loves being with her husband and family, especially cheering on her kids at their sporting events or continuing her creativity though paining, crafting, or gardening.

Chelsea Tennant
Landscape Designer
Her career began in the niche world of tropical and exotic plants, where she worked as a plant broker before transitioning into full-scale landscape design through her family’s design-build business. That experience eventually led her to take on more complex projects and further develop her skills at another firm before joining our team.
Chelsea is known for her collaborative, approachable style and her ability to translate a client’s vision into a design that’s both beautiful and functional. She takes pride in crafting outdoor spaces that feel like natural extensions of the home and loves bringing each space to life in a way that’s meaningful to the people who live there.
When she’s not working, you’ll usually find her starting another weekend DIY project, enjoying the outdoors with her family, or squeezing a few more plants into her already full garden.

Rayven Cannon
Landscape Designer
Her warm, approachable demeanor and exceptional organizational skills make her a natural communicator, clients and colleagues alike value her positive energy and collaborative spirit.
When she’s not designing beautiful landscapes, she’s out hiking, kayaking, exploring museums, or discovering the latest local food spots with her husband, daughter, and family dog happily along for the ride.

Kate Sullivan
Landscape Designer
Known for her reliability, efficiency, and sharp attention to detail, Kate is someone who tackles every challenge head-on. Her engineering background gives her a strong technical foundation, while her passion for plants and design adds creativity and depth to her work.
Outside of the office, Kate is a competitive road and fixed gear cyclist, and she spends many weekends racing or exploring the outdoors. She also has a special love for unique plants, especially carnivorous species and terrariums, and enjoys spending time with friends, her pets, and in nature.

Wayne Palmer
Senior CAD Designer
Wayne began his career with an architecture firm before joining our team to support landscape drafting. Since then, his role has grown significantly, he now leads our efforts in permitting, drafting, submittals, and construction detailing, ensuring every project is executed with accuracy and clarity.
Outside of work, Wayne is passionate about music and enjoys instrumental performance and music production. He’s deeply family-oriented and actively involved in his church community, bringing the same dedication and heart to his personal life that he brings to every project.

Andrew D’Agostino
Senior Project Manager
His past projects have spanned Arizona, Nevada, California, and Texas.
Outside of work, Andrew enjoys time at his northern Arizona cabin, golfing, and exploring the dunes and forests on his side-by-side with his family.

Abi Serrao
Project Manager
His proven leadership and dedication at Vistancia as a customer service representative were recognized with his promotion to Project Manager at Verde River in 2021. Fluent in both English and Spanish, Abi is celebrated for his strong leadership and exceptional communication skills, which are crucial in fostering collaborative environments.
When he’s not leading projects, you’ll find him enjoying time with his family, exploring off-road trails in his Jeep, or enjoying a meal with his family.

Omar Alvillar Sr.
Project Manager
His work includes salvaging and replanting saguaros from beneath power lines, preserving native trees across Carefree and Cave Creek, and restoring natural washes and roadways from Franklin Mountain to Desert Mountain Golf Course. His portfolio spans over 100 golf course installations throughout Arizona, California, Oregon, Utah, Wyoming, and even extends into Mexico and various wetland restoration projects.
Rising through the ranks from Heavy Equipment Operator to Senior Project Manager, Omar’s growth reflects his dedication and leadership in the field.
Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, especially watching his daughters and grandchildren play sports. Omar Sr. is a proud parent of a daughter who serves as an Infantry Airborne Soldier in the U.S. Army.

Omar Alvillar Jr.
Project Manager
From laborer to customer service, then foreman, and now project manager, Omar Jr.’s dedication and work ethic have shaped his steady rise. Bilingual and highly skilled, he brings both experience and leadership to every project.
Outside of work, he enjoys spending quality time with his family, coaching his son’s soccer team, and tackling personal projects.
